Research Group on Partial Differential Equations

Research interests:

Our group is devoted to the analysis of certain partial differential equations and systems appearing in several fields of applications such as combustion theory, fluid mechanics or in general, reaction diffusion processes.

Some of our present interests consist on:

  • Free boundary problems of interest in combustion or in rheological fluids. Also in problems where the free boundary is contained in a surface and is of lower dimension.
  • Nonlinear elliptic problems with non-standard growth conditions.
  • Eigenvalue estimates for elliptic systems. Behavior of these eigenvalues under variations of the domain.
  • Shape optmization problems related to Sobolev type inequalities.
  • Reaction-diffusion equations with delay. In particular when de diffusion is non-local.
